Tilt Shift...in After Effects
This took waaaay longer than I thought. I followed an awesome tutorial though, which you can find here. It actually covers alot of the stuff we're supposed to be testing in the brief, like masks and colour correction and stuff.
Word of warning if you guys wanna try this out. You use the Lens Blur filter, which increases the render time quite alot. Even though this clip is only 3 seconds long, it still took about 20 minutes to export the test. I had an entire cup of tea in that time. I would love to use this technique for my final piece, but I don't see it happening because of the render time. Maybe if I finish up quick enough..
I left my tablet in Uni, so have been using a mouse today. I can't believe I used to do all this kind of stuff on a mouse back in the day!
I also watched the Cowboys and Aliens trailer today. To my relief it's not really anything to do with what I'm doing in my Uni work. It actually looks pretty awesome.
