Urrrghhh epic artist's block. I'm trying to eek my way past it by keeping things quick. Here are a couple of environment thumbs which hopefully will be cleaned up and turned into nice book worthy things soon. I'm hoping the interior will turn out pretty cool, I wanna leave gaps in the metal sheets so that bits of light can trickle in. I dunno if the thumb shows that clearly enough...
I've nearly finalised my bad guy. Here's a design for a face mask I might put him in, instead of the space helmet bubble things all the other characters are in.
This was the only design I drew that doesn't look too much like Tom Chaney in True Grit. Damn you, Brolin.
I really like the bad guy and the gas mask is an interesing alternative to the traditional space helmet. It makes him look more badass.
